Susie Mae McCoy

She was born on December 16 1938. She wan born in Cayce South Carolina. She was trained by the Fabulous moolah. At the age of 50 she died of breast cancer.

Susie May McCoy a.k.a "Sweet Georgia Brown" was the first african american female wrestler in South Carolina.

She made her official debut in 1958.

She was a mother to 3 children and eventually gave birth to 2 more for a total of five. She was raised in a family of twelve and she was the oldest of all of the twelve kids. She named her kids Kenny, Barbara, David, Gloria, and Michael.

Susie McCoy left her native Cayce in 1957 as the beginning of a legacy in breaking not only racial but also gender barriers in the maledominated sport of professional wrestling.
