Falling Action

Matt finds out who killed Baldwin, and he finds out that the same person stole something very important to him, so he got it back as well as solving the murder mystery.

Climax

Baldwin is one of the god's descendants, and he cannot feel pain, and the only thing that can hurt him is mistletoe. Baldwin was killed, and now it's up to Matt and Fen to find out who.

Matt, Fen and Laurie meet four very strange but helpful people in their quest to find Thor's Hammer for Matt. They meet the Twins, Ray and Reyna, Astrid, and Baldwin.

Matt, Laurie, and Fen discover that they have to go to a the afterlife in order to bring Baldwin back to life. Then they can continue to find more clues and people, before it's too late.

Point of View.

The setting of this book actually takes place in South Dakota. A few of the places it talks about are Deadwood, Mount Rushmore, and Reptile Gardens. Later on the characters are going to be going to other places of course, but in this book, it was mainly in South Dakota.

The point of view that the book is written in first person, but there are three different perspective's it is being told through: Laurie's, Matt's, and Fen's.

Main Characters

The first main character is Matt. Matt is a descendant of the god Thor, and has special powers. Matt is a boxer and is also the son of a police officer. His parent's always expect him to do what's right, even if it means savng the world as a thirteen year old.

Opinion of Book

I liked the book because it was very suspensful and never got boring. If you like this book there are two more that go on to explain how it ends. They are called: 2. Odin's Ravens and 3. Thor's Serpent.

Favorite Quote.

"Seek the twins first. To find them, go see the presidents. Their faces hold the answer." (Pg 147)

The second main character is Fen. Fen is the complete opposite of Matt, he is a trouble-maker, and doesn't have a stable family that cares for him. He thinks of Matt as a stuck-up, but eventually figures out that they have to work together if they're going to get anything done.

The genre of this book is fantasy.

Summary

Loki's wolves is about a boy named Matt, who is a descendant of the Viking god Thor. He meets Fen and Laurie who are descendants of the god Loki, and the three of them are working together so that Matt can kill a serpent in which he was destined to kill. They are going off the old stories of the gods, and are trying to put all the pieces together in order so Matt can kill the Serpent.
