Texture is the thickness, thinness and the layers of music. It effects the different components of music, such as melody, harmony, rhythm, or the use of different instruments.
Dynamics is how soft or loud the music is played. Dynamics are shown by different symbols such as P, which symbolizes soft and F, the symbol for loud.
Pitch represents the basic frequency of sound/vibration that produces a musical note. Pitch refers to the highness and lowness of the notes in the music. Pitch is also one of the 3 major auditory attributes of sound; pitch (frequency), loudness (volume) and timbre (sound colour).
Duration is the how long or short the note is, it is basically the length of each note.
Some refer R&B as incorporated music of electric blues, as well as gospel and soul music. Then in the 1970's Rhythm and Blues was used as a blanket term for soul and funk music.

Pharrell, being a song writer and producer, he was asked to produce a song about joy and being happy. He did many drafts but none suited in his perspective, until he thought, 'what makes you happy?' and that's where the lyrics came along.
