• Howdy Phi Eta Sigma members! Welcome back!
• We have some exciting events planned for this semester so get out your calendar!

• If you are a new member and you are not sure if you have paid your dues, send an email to treasurer.pes.tamu@gmail.com to check!
• Dues are a one-time-only fee for joining PES, which means you do not need to pay dues if you are already a member.
• If you bought a t-shirt online you can pick it up after the meeting. There are still tshirts available!
• Go online to marketplace.tamu.edu and use the password "Phi Eta Sigma" to buy one!

• ‘Active' membership = 2 meetings, 1 social point, 1 service point.
• If you have any questions about points (past, present, or future) please email me at pes.secretary@gmail.com.
• PLEASE check past semesters to make sure your points are correct!
• If you know you will be gone for a future semester due to a study abroad, internship, or co-op, please contact me immediately for information on how to remain an active member during your absence.
• If you have missed a meeting this semester and are unable to earn all meeting points for active status CONTACT ME.
• To receive cords for May 2017 graduation, you must have been active for every semester since your induction as well as have earned all of your points to be active for this semester.
• The DEADLINE by which to earn all of your points AND have emailed me regarding eligibility is APRIL 20th.

• Howdy! On April 20th, we will be hosting a philanthropy event in John Crompton park that will benefit Give Kids the World Village, "Movies in the Park"!
• We will be watching a classic, Grease, and will provide popcorn, candy, and drinks. This event can count as either a social or a service point.
• Tickets are $10 for one, $15 for two, and can be purchased from marketplace via our website (http://pestamu.wixsite.com/phietasigma).
• Be sure to bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy the movie!

• Howdy! We will be having our New Member Mingle.
• April 18th from 6-8 p.m.

• I will be taking pictures of members throughout the semester to help build our Phi Eta Sigma scrapbook.
• If you have any pictures that you took at a PES event then please send those pictures to me so that we can use them too!

• Howdy! Eligibility for scholarships: minimum of 6 points.
• These points can be earned through attending socials, service events, meetings, and PROFIT SHARES.
• You earn .5 pts. for each profit share you attend.
• There will be 4 profit shares in the spring so you have the potential to earn 2 pts from Profit Shares alone.
• Only the people with the most points will be sent an application for a scholarship.Check the Newsletter.
• There are profit shares coming up such as Spoons on April 19th.

PLEASE DON'T RUSH TO THE STAGE YET!

• Howdy! We hope you've been having a great semester so far!
• If you have not already picked up your certificate, come to the stage after the meeting to pick it up.

• We will be holding group study sessions throughout the semester.
• Each is worth half a service point.
• The sessions will be held in the Annex on the 4th floor.
• You must stay for at least 1 hour to receive credit.
• We will be holding at least 1 more session during the semester. Current date is April 12th 10-1.

We need a moment to prepare the laptops and we'll let you know when you can sign in!

• We have a few more opportunities to earn service points this semester!
• This Wednesday, April 12th, we will be meeting on the 2nd floor of the Student Computing Center at 6:00PM to make Disney props for our Relay for Life Disney photo booth!
• If you attend and stay the entire time, you may earn 1/2 a service point.
• We are also holding sign ups for Relay for Life (Friday, April 28th) at the link: http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR?fr_id=82901&pg=team&team_id=2139979.
• Once you sign up and pay your $10, you will receive an email to sign up for one 4 hour time slot to earn your 1 service point.
• Due to high demand, our 7PM-11PM shift is no longer available.
• You may still sign up for the 11PM-3AM shift or 3AM-7AM shift!
• If you absolutely need the 7PM-11PM shift, please email your reason to tamupesservice@gmail.com. Remember, this is an amazing event to raise money to find a cure for cancer!
• It is going to be a great time!
• Finally, we have our street clean up on Wednesday, May 3rd at 10AM. This will be worth 1 service point.
