What is a Astronomical Phenomena?

Astronomical phenomena Definition

Aggregates of matter in outer space, such as stars,planets,comets,...ect and the properties that they undergo.(example:Aurora Borealis,Solar Eclipse, phases of the moon, comets)

Aurora Borealis Creation

The Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) is created

when electrons colide with the Earth's atmosphere and

the protons cause faint aura.

It takes the moon 27.322 days to orbit the Earth.

Solar Eclipse occurs when the

moon passes between the sun

and the Earth,blocking the sun

for a few seconds.

The Moon Phases Reset

This only happens durning the

New Moon phase.

Phases of the Moon-

The shape of the illuminated

position of the moon seen

on Earth.

Solar Eclipse has a theoretical

duration of 7 mins,40 seconds.

In Finnish, the name for the aurora borealis is "Revontulet", which literally translated means "Fox Fires." The name comes from an ancient Finnish myth, a beast fable, in which the lights were caused by a magical fox sweeping his tail across the snow spraying it up into the sky.

The only way to view the uneclipsed or partially eclipsed Sun safely is to project the Sun's rays.

In some ancient and modern cultures, solar eclipses have been attributed to supernatural causes or regarded as bad omens.

There are multiple moons in a given year. In ancient China, there were believed to be twelve moons—one for each month of the year. These moons were also thought to be made of water.

Comets are Cesestial Objects

consisting of a nucleus of ice and dust. When near the sun, a tail of gas and dust particles

formes and points away from the sun.

The ancient Greeks believed that a solar eclipse was a sign of angry gods and that it was the beginning of disasters and destruction.

Werewolves come out with a full moon. It supposes that a cursed human shape-shifts into a wolf at the dawning of a full moon.
