How They Are Formed
Sedimentary rocks are formed by pieces of rock depositing in lakes and building up over time and crushing the lairs on the bottom forming sedimentary rocks
Igneous rocks are formed by lava flowing out of a volcano and cooling off forming igneous rocks.
Metamorphic rocks are formed when an igneous or sedimentary rock is buried in the earth and with heat and pressure and time it turns into a metamorphic rock.
