The Humble Paperclip
What will we use Paperclips for?
The Paperclip Machine
How?
In group made up of 5 students from Year 7,8 and 9

Students will assign roles within the group:
Team Captain (organises the team)
Planning Engineer (plans where & how to shape paperclips)
Mechanical Engineer 1 (shapes paperclips)
Mechanical Engineer 2 (shapes paperclip)
Technical Engineer (reads Instructions)
For the project to be successful you must work as a team

To show someone you love them

Hold paper
Create characters
To make jewellery
Activity
Staff to pick 2 teams each to support (5 students in each, 7,8,9). Take the groups to the back of the room and seat them on the floor
Students assign roles within the group:
Team Captain (organises the team)
Planning Engineer (plans where & how to shape paperclips)
Mechanical Engineer 1 (shapes paperclips)
Mechanical Engineer 2 (shapes paperclip)
Technical Engineer (reads Instructions)
Captain collects an activity pack
Planning Engineer writes the names of all the students on the pack, their roles and the member of staff who picked you
