  • Paris is renowned for its cuisine, food meticulously prepared and presented, often accompanied by fine wines
  • many of the world's leading chefs operate restaurants serving French cuisine in Paris such as Alain Ducasse and Joël Robuchon
  • The growth of the railway in the late 19th century led to the capital becoming a main point for immigration from France's many different regions and cultures, which means the food in the city is diverse.
  • Paris has over 9,000 restaurants

  • Paris is know globally for it's fashion
  • it is know as the " Fashion Capital "
  • Paris is noted for its couture tailoring, usually made from high-quality, expensive fabric and sewn with extreme attention to detail and finished by the most experienced seamstresses, often using time-consuming, hand-executed techniques.
  • Paris fashion week is the most important week on the fashion calendar
  • International Fashion Academy Paris is an international fashion school, established in 1982 and headquartered in Paris
  • Paris has many of the top designer's biggest stores in Paris such as Louis Vuitton's store, Christian Dior's 1200 square foot store and Sephora's 1500 square foot store.
