The Case of Coral Watts

(Testimonial Evidence)

Coral Eugene Watts who is a confessed serial killer that athorities were worried about his release due to him saying that he would begin to kill once again if he was ever released from prison. Due to this threat the athorities opened up an old case that involved Helen Dutcher that had gone unsolved due to Watts not confessing to it. After reopening the case, the athorities had found a witness to the 25 year old crime by the name of Joseph Foy. After his tesimony was verified by the court they successfully locked away Watts for life, charging him guilty for the murder of Helen Dutcher by trusting what Foy said he had seen.

Testimonial Evidence

What is said in court by a competent individual during their testimony. such as a witness speaking out to the court to inform the judge of what he or she had seen to maybe declare the defendant guilty or innocent.

Physical Evidence

An object or material relevant to the crime at hand and was more or less likely found at the crime scene for accuracy purposes. this includes the weapon used by the criminal or hair fibers that were left on the victims clothing after coming contact with the criminal.
