In the beginning, Paulina's dad gave up the throne for a job. Paulina missed being a princess. She wanted to become royal again. She heard that if you do the queen´s tests and pass, you marry Prince Drupert. She entered the contest to become princess. She soon past the first test which is the PEA TEST.
In the middle of the story, (after Paulina entered the contest and past the pea test.) There were only five contestants left. They all had to write an essay about why they wanted to have the queen as a mother-in- law. For the second test, the princesses had to fit their foot into a glass slipper. Then, there were two big foot princesses that had to go back home. Then, the queen announced a cooking test.
Paulina tripped on one of the princesses braids and she barely had any food left to cook with, since tiny men stole most of the food. She went back to her room and tried to make something. She took a nap and gave up on cooking. Soon after, the queen said there was only twenty minutes left. Paulina told her she gave up, but Queen Zelda replied that losers will be beheaded. Paulina begged for her life and said that she would do anything. She cooked the food she tried to make and made pizza. It was soon time to present and she won because Queen Zelda and Prince Drupert LOVED the pizza (even though she had no tiny little men to help). Soon, she opened a pizza shop and lived happily ever after.
the end
An important character through out the story is Princess Paulina. Also, Queen Zelda was also meaningful to the plot. Through out the whole fairy tale, Paulina's goal was to marry Prince Drupert, so Drupert might be important.
Some settings like the castle and the rooms inside are important. In the beginning, the humble, neighboring kingdom was important, since it was the place that led Paulina wanting to go back princessing. The bedroom was also essential because it is where she made the pizza, hence the name "Princess and the PIZZA".
