This Jim Crow law prevented the interaction between blacks and whites. The Blacks got the worst possible and the whites got the best. If only one school could be built in a rural area it would be a white school

This law did more than just prevent any interaction between them. This law also was supported because most african americans where pulled out to work on a farm. Sometimes whites pulled out african americans because they felt they didn't deserve an education
