Waste Management is a process

which involved, collection, storage,

and disposal of waste.

Common waste produced during are mainly ashes and human biodegradable waste, and these were released back into the ground locally, with minimum environmental impact.

Public Perception

People in Taiwan don't have the habit to place garbage where they should be.

Plus, the government doesn't seem to notice that garbage bins aren't enough.

Not Enough Landfills

Taiwan is a crowed place, people are everywhere,

we don't really have place to put our trash. The government came up with an idea of putting near the eastern sea, but as day gone by, the soil had been wash away and the garbage went floating around the pacific ocean.

Air Pollution

Since we don't have space to store our garbage,

we burn it. But the air pollution caused by burning

garbage keeps on increasing every year, making Taiwan's air awful.

The present and near term sustainable materials management landscape includes a new generation waste to energy systems to replace aging mass burn incinerators operating well below capacity, mining landfills for recyclables, and projects to determine how to capitalize on recovered materials such as copper.

The Waste Disposal Act and the Resource Recycling Act will likely be combined as the ministry leverages its new formidable database.

Japan

Japan's government called Law for the Promotion of Sorted Collection and Recycling of Containers and Packaging, has been enforced in April 1997 by the Ministry of the Environment to reduce the waste of glass containers, PET bottles and paper cartons

When throwing trash, if you don't separate your recycle and waste objects, they will return your garbage and ask you to follow the rules.

Waste Management is the key to a better future. But the ultimate solution is not just developing better ways to manage waste, but to achieve what all human wants: Zero Waste

But until we found the way, we should keep on recycling, do our best to make our mother earth a better place.
