  • Right hand of an executed prisoner

General Bad Luck

  • A pot stirred counter-clockwise
  • Leaving the door open
  • Keeping a peacock's feather
  • Lunar eclipse
  • Spilling salt
  • Sudden loss of hair
  • Putting shoes on the table

Modern Superstitions

Some superstitions have carried on to our modern day lives, such as:

  • Walking under a ladder
  • A black cat crossing your path

Also, putting your shoes on the table still isn't accepted usually.
