Now 3CX will use default audio devices

that you have previously set in Windows .

If you change Windows defaults (on the right), this will automatically take effect in 3CX when Primary Sound Driver option is selected.

Ringer:

You can make your phone ring either from the headset, or from the loud speakers built into the monitor. For headset ringer, choose Primary Sound Driver; for monitor speakers - select Realtek High Definition Audio. Make sure that this device is not disabled in Windows sound controls as illustrated on the right and that the volume is not muted both in the monitor and in Windows.

They still can barely hear you?

Enhance microphone sensitivity by setting the Microphone Gain value to "8".

But before you go...

Some very simple answers to very common problems:

- They can't here me.

Mute button activated on the headset? Microphone level is set too low?

- I sound very distant and echoey.

Sound is being picked up by the web cam?

- I set my monitor to ring, but it doesn't!

Press touch buttons on the monitor to check the volume levels. Check Realtek HD Audio output level.

- No sound at all!

Is headset properly plugged in? Try another USB.

That's it!
