  • People must be aware of the direct effects of smoking on the health and appearance of the smoker, the dangers of secondhand smoking on children and pregnancy that can cause long term problems, and the bad impact this habit cause on the environment mainly air pollution .

  • There are many solutions and methods to help smokers quit smoking such as, Set a quit date, pick a date inside of the following one weeks, so you have plenty time to organized without dropping your inspiration to stop.

  • If you are a smoker who is struggling on the path of breaking this bad habit think of your loved ones and all those happy moments you can create with them in the future that might slip of your grasp if you continue this habit and find that inner strength and will power to stop.

  • Let me deal first with the positive side of smoking. First, smoking undoubtedly helps many people to relax. For some, it even improves concentration. Many people like to smoke beforeexams or when they are relaxing with friends.
  • A further point is that governments throughout the world make huge profits from levying taxeson cigarettes. This provides funds which are used for building schools, hospitals and other public amenities.
  • The tobacco industry also employs tens of thousands of people throughout the world, particularlyin poorer countries like Zimbabwe or India. Without cigarettes, these people would have no jobs. However, the decision as to whether to smoke or not should be for each individual to make.

Overview

  • Our topic is based on smoking. We will focus on disadvantages of smoking on smokers, nonsmokers, society, and environment. Tobacco has a negative effect on almost every organ of the body. In world wild recently, facts shown that tobacco is responsible for 6 million deaths each year. We are interesting in this topic because we notice that all people from all ages are smoking without take care of themselves, which are influence on their body and environment. Also we are very interested to do the research in order to convince people to stop smoking gradually until stop smoking forever. Smoking tends to create an antisocial relationship between smokers and non- smokers. This means, the nonsmokers do not like the smell of the cigarettes. Even the smokers will have the same smell of cigarettes, so they will unlike to be close to the smokers.

What would you do if you could live until you are ninety-nine? Many have lived beyond that age. Lucky, you may think. Yet it is not at all about luck. It is their lifestyle that played in their favor, and cigarettes were not part of it. If you want to live long, there are several ways to help you quit smoking, such as managing cigarette cravings, making use of nicotine and non-nicotine replacements, and referring to alternative therapies.
