Also known as swine flu because in the past people caught it for pigs
In 2009 it became dangerous and it is contagious (it could be contagious also from
animals to
humans)

In pigs
Treatment
As it is a normal disease of the body it can be treated by
- Acetaminofen (Dolex)
- Naproxeno (d.m.)
- Ibuprofeno (de)
This virus occurs in pigs also.
In pigs, the virus produces:
- fever
- lethargy
- sneezing
- coughing
- difficult breathing
- decreased appetite
In some cases:
- Abortion
- weight loss
- poor growth

- You should take antiviral drugs
- Avoid contact with sick people
- Avoid touching you eyes, nose or mouth. Germs can spread like this also.

- It was known since 1918, in 1918 it was called the Spanish flu, it had a great impact, over the 20% to 40% of the world died, and they would die in a very short period of time. (H1N1)
- In 1957 it was identified in the Far East. (Asian Flu H2N2)
- In 1968 it was identified in Hong Kong and spread to a little more countries. (H3N2)
- In 2009 it was spread to the USA and then to the whole world. (Swine Flu H1N1)
