- Travis has austism which renders him unable to speak. He takes advantage of modern technology by using an ipod to speak and communicate.
- Danny Scrivano is a college student who had a stroke when he was very young. He has limited mobility in the left side of his body. Despite this Danny is extremly athletic and wishes to one day be a paralympic athelete
- Joshua Glynn has down syndrome which also affects his speak making him unable to speak. He demonstrates patience when he communicates his needs, or when he communicates whatsoever.
- Caleb Keyes has austims and it affects the way he speaks and communicates. He has trouble speaking and controlling his voice modeulation.
- BJ Moore has down syndrome and it affects the way he sees and hears. Hearing aids make it easier for him to listen and communicate.
- Hannah Reuter has down syndrome. She has to overcome adversity because it affects her speech, sight, mobitlity ect. Despite all of this Hannah has been a cheerleader all throught high school and is a very active and popular girl.
- Kyle Maynard is a congenital amputee meaning that he was born without arms or legs. He has to be very patient with his disability epically considering how much he likes to do things himself without the help of others.
- Jenna Cole has a disease that is extremely fatal at a very young age. She is the second oldest person to have the disease. It affects her mobility and makes her tounge very long maing it difficult to communicate. Jenna is an extemely nice, happy young women and will be graduating in 2016.
- Raven Wranger has a diease that severly limits her mobility leaving her in a motorized wheelchair. Without the wheelchair she would be unable to move on her own
Ryan Keller has cerebal palsy which makes him not very communative. He usually only speaks to people that he's comfortable with.
- Nick Vujicic is also a congenital amputee so he was born without most of his arms and legs. He endures patients in similar ways. One way is how he must be patient is with people. People might stare at Nick because they've never seen a congenital amputee before but Nick is very patient and even humours about his disability
- Darius Weems from Darius Goes West overcomes adversity duchenne muscular dystrophy which affects his use of his muscles and is a fatal disease at a young age. He overcame adversity and traveled from his home all the way to california and back and experienced many amazing things around the country.
