The MS DEV SIG is for .NET consultants with an interest in advancing their knowledge and sharing their knowledge in any technology in Microsoft .NET development. The goal of the MS DEV SIG is to promote technical excellence and best practices among .NET consultants and also help members of this group to provide solutions for their technical challenges. Our next MS DEV SIG topic is "The Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) v2.0 single sign-on (SSO) component for .NET". The next meeting will be held on August 20th.

The SharePoint SIG is 11:30-1:00 on the third Thursday of every month (next meeting August 15). Our goal is to create a community that helps employees become better SharePoint professionals and advance their SharePoint careers. To those ends, we try to cover topics of interest to all SharePoint professionals regardless of role. Topics are widely varied from last month’s deep dive into the Search Web Part to last November’s SIG focusing on body language and “Power Posing”. The SIG also provides us with a monthly gathering where our members can meet up and discuss what we’ve been working on, what we’ve learned, and where we might be stuck. Our members include Engineers, Project Managers, and Developers and we try to make sure each member, regardless of role, can come away with information that can help them.

ICC Toastmasters is entering a new year, so now is the perfect time to get involved! Toastmasters International provides the tools to build solid communicators and leaders.
