The greeks would not want to utter his
name. Afraid of causing some reaction, that would end up with them dying sooner, instead they gave him another name, Plouton.
Persephone, was Hades wife, she eventually became the queen of the Underworld. They never had any children, but she was like Hades, she was never ever happy or nice.
How Hades became the god of the under world
Hades Brother's
All Hades Brothers were also gods, but his brothers names were Poseidon and Zeus, he also had a dog named Cerberus that guarded the entrance of the Underworld.
Hades lured lots of them to share the universe, but he drew to poorly which made him the god of the underworld. He became more unhappy and grumpier by the time he started ruling the Underworld.
Zeus

Zeus, Hades brother never really liked him very much, so that's why he banned him to the under world. Like I said in one of my other bubbles, Zeus and many other gods did not utter his name. They gave him a nickname, Plouton so every time they would refer to him like that, they didn't "die" or "die" sooner.
