The tropical rainforest biome is the most difficult ecosystem in the world. This biome goes through the Central and South America, the Central Africa, the South-East Asia and the South Australia.

These forests exist in those regions where the temperature in constantly high 24-28C and there is a lot of rain (2000-10000 mm) there.

Tropical rainforests have existed on earth for hundreds of millions of years. Most tropical rainforests today are on fragments of the Mesozoic era supercontinent of Gondwana. Tropical rainforests exhibit high levels of biodiversity.
