Possibly, for this reason, Marquez was awarded the nobel prize in 1982

Due to the simplicity of this play, it has been subject to various interpretations in psychology, philosophy, politics, war, religion, etc.

Fun fact: This book has been adopted into the movie where (in my opinion) half of it completely changes the whole story line and removes other narrators' perspectives.

This is a 1200-1500 word written assignment based on one of the texts from part 1 (Texts in translation). Titles are chosen by the student and essay drafts can only be marked once
There are 3 questions in the test and students only pick one and use at least 2 of the works studied in Part 3 (Literary Genres) to answer the question. (No copies of the texts are allowed in the exam)
After each interactive oral, every student will have to write a 300-400 word statement in response to the question: “How was your understanding of cultural and contextual considerations of the work developed through the interactive oral?”
This is given a mark out of 3, which contributes to your mark for your WA.
All students are given 2 unseen texts (A poem and prose/drama).
HL students pick one and create a 'Literary Commentary'
SL students also pick one but create a 'Guided Literary Analysis'
