Evacuation
This was a chance for the kids to go on holiday & experience experiences they have neer had before! This was so children didn't die at night when the Germans bombed cities at night time. If everyone died we wouldn't be able to carry on the human generation.
Leaders
The leader of Germany was Adolf Hitler & he started the War. Although the leader of Great Britain who was called Winston Churchill declared war with Germany after Germany invaded Poland when Mr.Churchill asked Germany not to invade any more Countries. Other countries got involved and took sides.
Droppin' Bombs
The Germans used to drop most of their bombs at night time & it would carry on until round about 6:30
World War II was a big war between Allied Powers & Axis Powers the Allied Countries were Australia, Brazil, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, Soviet Union (from June 1941) United Kingdom & United States (from December 1941). The Axis Countries were Germany, Italy & Japan.
