Many Journalist in the 60's covered the Kennedy election, The civil rights movement, Martin Luther King Jr.'s " I have a dream" speech and the assassination of President Kennedy.

While news was still being written in the newspapers many people began to watch the news on TV's than reading it in the paper.

Many people would rather watch news on the TV then to read a newspaper. Because of that there were less newspapers being printed. Journalists did not want to listen or collaborate with the audience.
