REAL SCIENCES

FALSE SCIENCES

EMERGING SCIENCES

  • Exo-meteorology: is offering remarkable insights into the conditions found on some of the more extreme planets in the galaxy
  • Nutrigenomics: study of the interaction of nutrition and genes, especially with regard to the prevention or treatment of disease.
  • Synthetic biology: an interdisciplinary branch of biology, combining disciplines such as biotechnology, evolutionary biology, molecular biology, systems biology and biophysics, and is in many ways related to genetic engineering.
  • Cognitive economics looks at what is actually going on within the individual's mind when they make that choice. What the internal structure of their decision-making, what the influences on it, how information enter the mind and how is it processed, what form do preferences take internally, and then ultimately how are all those processes expressed in our behavior.
  • Recombinant memetics: the study of how memes (ideas that spread from person to person) can be adjusted and merged with other memes and memeplexes (a cohesive collection of memes, like a religion) for beneficial or ‘socially therapeutic' purposes (such as combating the spread of radical and violent ideologies). This is similar to the idea of 'memetic engineering'
  • 2012 Phenomenon - Expectations that 2012 would bring large-scale disasters or even the end of the world
  • Cryptozoology - The search for Bigfoot (Yeti), the Loch Ness monster, El Chupacabra and other creatures that biologists believe do not exist
  • Biodynamic Agriculture - Organic farming that has some non-scientific methods of crop cultivation

NON-SCIENCE

2 INTERESTING FACTS

  • Astrology - Belief that humans are affected by the position of celestial bodies
  • Numerology - A belief in a relationship between certain numbers and people or events
  • Primal Therapy - Belief that experiences before and during birth influence the way our life unfolds
  • Feng Shui - A Chinese method of arranging objects and living spaces in a certain way
  • Ancient Astronauts - Proposes that aliens have visited the earth in the past and influenced our civilization

1.) Massive weather patterns, found by exo-meteorology experienced on a hot Jupiter that's 385 light years from Earth.

2.) Some Dwarf Planets have astrological influences and some do not. We use the term AstroBody to refer to a Dwarf Planet that has strong astrological powers.

WHERE DO I SEE GOD?

"Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist." Corinthians 6:8.

This passage explains my thoughts on all of this talk about non-science, emerging and false sciences. We as Christians should put this aside, and remember who our one true creator and savior are. And even if we don't approve of all of these beliefs we can still help those who have gotten off track of their pathway to heaven.
