Men's field Hockey has been played at each summer olympics games since 1980 (EXCEPT 1912 and1924) while womens field hockey has been played at summer olympics games since 1980

A team consists of ten field players who are classified as attackers,midfielders,defenders and a goal keeper who remains in the team's shooting circle.

We use Hockey sticks to pass the ball to other team mates, in order to score a goal.For our protection we use shin pads and gum shield.

HOCKEY
In September 2013 I started playing hockey in Bridgend hockey club. I really enjoy playing it as it teaches me how to work as a team and i've made new friends . I go to training sessions every Monday at Pencoed comprehensive school. I have played 3 games this season at midfield
