Procurement enabling technology

This team is the supporting function for all Procurement related activities at Auckland Council.

Making our size and scale work

• All procurement activity is carried out in Ariba

• Managing all emails to Procurement via the Procurement inbox

• All council suppliers must be registered to the Ariba supplier network to be able to participate in Auckland Council tenders

• Update procurement intract content - processes, templates, and tools

• Provide access to core self-service reports. These allow business stakeholders to understand their existing contracts and spend

on our intranet, Kotahi

• Support and guide the business with end to end Procurement process

• Panuku and ATEED also now use Ariba. Auckland Transport will begin to integrate Ariba later this year

• Deliver strategic initiatives (such as the implementation of Ariba)
