I chose her to be a roaming character because she has been the first woman to do many things and is an example of freedom and liberty to do and be what you want. Hillary Clinton has spent her career breaking down barriers and opening up opportunities for minorities to participate in the American Dream. Whether she wins the election or not, she is a great example of enjoying the freedom that our forefathers worked hard to provide us.
I chose Mussolini as one of our park’s roaming characters because his efforts to limit liberty and freedom of others led to one of the most devastating wars in world history. He was the initial source of inspiration for Adolph Hitler who was the architect of not only World war II but also of the holocaust. Ironically, Mussolini's desire to limit the liberty of others also contributed to motivating the Allied Forces to join together to fight fascism and dictatorship so that democracy would win out and shape the modern future of the world.
I chose him to represent Freedom Park because he represents everything that America stands for; liberty, sacrifice, democracy and freedom. In addition to fighting for our freedom and independence from the British, he also helped lay the foundation for the U.S. government as it is know today. His legacy continues today as he also presided over the 1787 writing of the U.S. Constitution which became the basis for the laws governing the country.
