If you want links that are NOT hurting rankings... Then how about looking at the links that got more than one competitor to the top. If they are not hurting them, they may not hurt you.
Caveat: When Google recrawls an existing page and ONLY sees a new in link in the middle of a paragraph, you give them a flag. Make sure it is at least an added sentence.
