Effects of His Change

One man deciding that enough is enough, that he couldn't sit in the dark, letting his people be brutally beaten by those who are supposed to protect them, created a Facebook page. And with that Facebook page, he was able to influence his people to helping themselves & future generations.

  • Jan 28th- Wael KIDNAPPED on his way home from a dinner with some colleagues
  • Google realized Wael was gone & started, behind the scenes, to publicized his disappearance.
  • 11 days later, Wael was released.

  • Created Facebook page, "Kullena Khaled Saeed" (We Are All Khaled Said).
  • Khaled Saeed was an 28 year old Alexandrian blogger who was beaten to death in an internet cafe for speaking out against police violence... Hmm, IRONY!.
  • FB page demanded accountability for Khaled's death & an end to corruption within the Egyptain government.

Wael Ghonim is a simple man from Cario, Egypt who has helped his country become free of the cruel government which controlled them all. With a few social media sites online, he's become an agent of change.
