Chinese is considered one of the oldest civilizations so of course it has a long history.Chinese history extends a long way. I will give you a brief view. Chinese history is believed to be started 5000 years ago and is qualified as one of the 5 ancient civilizations. Chinese have many dynasties. The first real dynasty is the Xia dynasty, then the Shang dynasty, Zhou dynasty. After the golden period of development, China broke into wars. The first war was between many big separate dynasties. In those dynasties, Qing was the nost powerful. As some most dynasties were destroyed, China entered the battle dynasty period. Many small dynasties fought for control and finally Qing beat them all. That created the Qing dynasty, then the Han dynasty. After the last Han emperor was killed by rebels, china sank into another civil war. This time, it was between 3 large dynasties, and is the most famous, known as the 3 dynasties age. After that many other dynasties such as the Ming and Qing dynasty rose to power and finally ended when Qing was destroyed by modern Chinese.

Chinese are very religious, so they have many holidays. These holidays include Chinese new year, the day of the moon, etc. The Chinese also have many traditions during their new year, like setting off firecrackers and eating at a family gathering.
There are many Chinese landmarks. The most famous are the forbidden city and the great wall along with the teracotta army. All of these were man made. Chinese landmarks all have 1 similarity. They are very vast. Take the teracotta army, for example. It is not just a couple soldiers of clay, but thousands or even millions of clay soldiers. The teracotta army is located in GuiLin, and the forbidden city is in Beijing, while the great wall stretches all over China.
