Reasons:
-unfair for those who can't afford to pay the high taxes that the government demands.
-the middle class and those who are poor would not be appreciative of the government taking away their hard work by cutting off for income taxes.

They believe that people who
can make more should pay more
as proposed by President Barack Obama.
Flat tax
They believe that it's unfair to those who make $8,590 to those who make $35,951. It's cruel to the middle class and lower.
They believe that with a flat tax system it would be easier to "force" Americans to pay their taxes. Although they would have to raise taxes by 6% and up.

Republicans believe its wrong because it shows preference more towards the lower class by giving money. They believe everybody is created equal and would be unfair to the wealthy who set the foundation for our economy.
