Buddhism: Four Noble Truths, Eightfold Path

Right view

Right Intentions

The right view and understanding is knowing that the eightfold path is what is right.

Have the intentions to give up the causes of suffering

Right speech

Practicing the eightfold path delivers freedom from suffering

Not lying, or saying mean/abusive words.

Right action

Suffering ends when we end our attachment to desire

Not doing anything wrong, not lying, stealing, etc.

Right livelihood

When you get over the need for desire, suffering will end.

Don't do harmful jobs, live the right way

right effort

Suffering is caused by desire

Doing your best to avoid bad situations.

Right mindfulness

Accepting the outer world around you, being non-judgemental.

Right concentration

Having the right mental intentions to focus on the eightfold path

The desire for worldly things won't end the suffering, only increase it.

All Life is suffering

No one's life is perfect, everyone has their own problems
