When Jesus arrived in the villages of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “What are people saying about who the Son of Man is?” They replied, “Some think he is John the Baptizer, some say Elijah, some Jeremiah or one of the other prophets.” Mathew 16:13-14
He pressed them,
“And how about you?
Who do you say I am?”
Matthew 16:15
Still, it’s what God had in mind all along,to crush him with pain.
The plan was that he give himself as an offering for sin so that he’d see life come from it—life, life, and more life.And God’s plan will deeply prosper through him. Isaiah 53:10
He took on his own shoulders the sin of the many,
