Increase acknowledgement of high achieving students in the school
- Promote high achieving students by creating an honor roll and principal’s list.
- Recognize good deeds and achievements in MYP assemblies
Increase literacy in science
- Insisting on better English in class
- Alter rubrics if necessary to include proper grammar and sentence structure (rubrics are too vague: “sufficient”)
- Use the library more
- Create assessments that encourage critical reading and writing
Improve MYP achievement
- Have consistent and progressive scientific method instruction from year 1 to 5
- Years 1 and 2 receive intensive training in the scientific method through inquiry projects

Students with less than a 3 in Year 5 Science are recommended to enter the NB program, not any DP science class.

Students in grade 9 & 10 receive information on Math and Science course planning for DP & grade 10 courses (particularly Math, which is streamed in grade 10)
Improve DP marks to above world average
- Curriculum mapping for DP preparation
- Re-writes allowed for some assessments
- Institute strong recommendations for students interested in the DP program.
- Institute recommended achievement levels for entry into DP Science courses (even SL level).
- Students unable to achieve in the DP should be placed in a program where they can succeed as soon as possible.
- Enforce ongoing deadlines for all major assessments.

Teachers have class deadlines at least one week prior to DP Coordinator deadlines.
Students not meeting a school DP IA deadline will forego the IB certificate for that course.
