What is a tiger economy and how does it work?

What are the success factors of a tiger economy?

Below we can see the main factors for a country to become an tiger economy:

- Fast economic growth in some Asian countries

- Financial crisis in 1997 till 1998 because of dept - serving expenses and inequitable distribution of wealth

- Most of the wealth remained in the upper class

- Some of them are Indonesia, Taiwan, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and South - Korea

- Sudden or planned economic growth

- Starting trade in specific goods

- Nowadays, all the tiger economies are located in East-Asia.

- The main reason is the extremely low work wages and many people looking for a job. Due this the factory owners can produce much goods at a very low price.

- Export driven this means that a certain country exports more goods than it imports.
