Born in New York City in 1971, Tupac Shakur, known by his stage name 2Pac, was an American rapper. Shakur has sold more than 75 million albums worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists in the world. Most of Tupac's songs are about growing up surrounded by violence and hardship in the ghettos, racism, other social problems and conflicts with other rappers during the East Coast-West Coast hip hop rivalry.
Life
- In 1994 Tupac meet and married Keisha Morris just 4 months after they had meet at a party puffy was throwing. Tupac purposed to Keisha while on trial for sexual abuse charges , the two got married just 4 months after Tupac went to jail. The two were married for about 7 and ½ months before splitting up because Kiesha felt as if she wasn’t needed any more after tupac was released from jail.
- Tupac Shakur better known as 2Pac had a difficult childhood, moving frequently around NYC. The son of Black Panther activists, Shakur was raised by his mother Afeni Shakur. During her pregecny with Tupac she was in jail on bombing charges. He had no contact with his biological father, Billy Garland, until he was an adult. As a teenager, Shakur attended the Baltimore School for the arts, where he took acting and dance classes, including ballet. He also explored acting by becoming a member of the 127th Street Ensemble, a Harlem-based theater company

The Grammy Awards is an accolade by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences of the United States to recognize outstanding achievement in the music industry.
