When he should've been jamming, he was getting jealous. Marcello Vera, student at John Paul II, was enjoying his time at the Spring Fling on April 18, 2014...until he noticed that his friends seemed to be enjoying some new company, the boy in blue whose face is not pictured for his own protection. Vera could not comprehend how his friends could think anyone else as cool as him. Therefore, he committed the capital sin of envy. As the photo from the event clearly shows, Vera was completely stunned and ruined his own fun by being jealous. In doing so, he also broke JPII's 9th commandment (see Commandments posted on right side of front page). Fortunately, the Campus Ministry Police were on the scene to reprimand him immediately. They encouraged him to meet the "Boy in Blue" and enjoy his company as his friends were doing. After the CMP gave Vera a slap on the wrist and a cookie, he proceeded to join his friends, He was overheard at the end of the night saying, "You know, Boy in Blue is pretty cool. I shouldn't have been jealous in the first place!"
