Stargirl arrives at Mica High School.
Eventually, Stargirl and Leo drift away. Stargirl leaves school and Leo leaves for college
Leo avoided Stargirl. He wouldn't talk to her because she was getting shunned by the school and no one would talk to him unless he stopped associating with her.
Stargirl becomes a cheerleader. Everyone went to games just to see her and the Electrons defeat the opposing teams. No seat was left open. In addition, the Electron cheerleaders got tired of Stargirl cheering for the opposing team, as well as their team, so she was kicked off the squad.

Stargirl won first place in a speech competition but no one congratulated her except her parents.
It was Valentine's Day and Stargirl gave Leo a card saying "I Love You" and her name signed. This leads to Leo falling in love with Stargirl as they became closer and closer friends.
Stargirl starts to get noticed around the school when she sings "Happy Birthday" Alan Ferko at lunch with her ukelele in front of everyone.
