In the Onondaga Tribe the men were in charge of hunting, trading, and war. The women were in charge of the farming, property, and family. Onondaga clans were ruled by women, they made the land and resource decisions. 1 belief they have is in a god they call the creator.
Today the sport lacrosse is very popular because of the Iroquois.
Traditional instruments that were used were drums, and flutes."Iroquois drums were often filled with water to give them a distinctive sound different from the drums of other tribes.
