- Through the Canadian Syrian Refugee Arrival Appeal, the Canadian Red Cross has provided Syrian refugees with more than 70,474 essential items, such as clothing and footwear, meals and snacks, and temporary accommodations
- From 2014 to the present day, 28000 people were infected with the fatal Ebola virus disease
