This was FFA's first event of the year, also our first chapter meeting. We had hotdogs, beans, slaw, sweet tea etc. It was a fun time for the members and officers to start mingling and preparing for 2012-2015!
This was a great experience for me as an officer! It was at Corinth Holders, led by the regional officers. It helped to teach good leadership techniques and problem solving methods for FFA and other life experiences.
These were regular chapter meetings, all involving fun activities. October included a pumpkin carving contest with a Halloween theme and November included apple bobbing with a Thanksgiving theme!
This was my favorite part of my SAE. I went to Purr and Bark Animal Hospital and shadowed Dr. Regina. While I was there she spayed/neutered 23 rescue cats. I got to help prep vaccines, help clean up the cats after surgery, and experience what it is like to be a veterinarian.
This was a very interesting job as Aspen was deaf and blind! He wears diapers, always runs into stuff, and needs help going up and down stairs and getting onto furniture.
