Introduction

Disturbed Limestone Rainforest

Guam is a lovely tropical island located out in the eastern Pacific in Micronesia in a chain of islands called the Marianas. It’s many diverse geological features lie abundant with unique ecological microcosms and fauna.

Conclusion

This area is an asylum for wildlife in an era of Guam’s rapid urbanization. The myriad of species here find this isolated portion of rainforest an exceptional habitat as even though it is a disturbed area; human activity is scarce with of course the exception of those who wander near the residential areas. Vegetation is par for the course of any limestone rainforest seen on Guam and is a valuable resource and habitat for wildlife and plants. It seems to be one of many important wildlife habitats on Guam.
