Summary of Geology!!!!

** What We Learned**

- Erosion = the process of eroding or being eroded by wind,

water, or other natural agents.

- Weathering = weathering takes a long time to

decompose the rock over years and years and GEOLOGY.

- The Study OF Geology = A scientist that studies rocks,

liquids, and more matter that makes up the earth.

How Deposition Creates New Landforms

The rock can pile up on each other.

Deposition

Deposition is when rock gets dropped into groove.

Examples of Weathering & Erosion

- Weathering breaks down rock

- Erosion moves the sediments

Causes of weathering

- Water and ice

-Weathering breaks down rock into small sediments

Erosion

the process of eroding or being eroded by wind, water, or other natural agents.Erosion also picks up rock and moves it.

Thank

you!

Weathering

weathering takes a long time to break down the rock

over years and years of GEOLOGY.

Geologists PROBLEMS

They can't be there to report everything and take notes for further research.

Geology

Geologists SOLUTIONS

the solution is that people need to make some

houses and buildings so that it won't make more damage

to houses and stuff

Geology is the study of the Earth - how it works and its

4.5 billion-year history.

Geoligist

A geologist is a scientist who studies the solid and liquid matter that constitutes the Earth as well as the processes that shape it.
