The Inventor of Explosives

No one knows who invented the first explosives. Black powder, also known as gunpowder, is a mixture of saltpeter, sulfur, and charcoal. It originated in China in the tenth century and was used for fireworks and signals.

No one knows exactly who invented explosives, but we do know they were invented in China.

There are 3 types of explosives, nuclear, mechanical, and physical reactions.

The most common type of explosive is TNT, explosives contain the oxygen they need for burning in the chemical. This allows burning to occur much more quickly. Nitroglycerin has the chemical formula. The carbon and hydrogen combine with oxygen, and the nitrogen is released.
