Introduction

  • Possibilities for Human Application
  • Ethics
  • Genetic Enhancement
  • Concerns
  • DNA Research- Genetic Engineering

Cons

  • GE crosses species barriers. Crosses are made which would never occur in nature.
  • GE is Unnatural
  • Bio technologists are playing God
  • Steals genetic commons from peasant farmers and indigenous peoples

Human Genetic Enhancement

Pros

  • Animal Models
  • Human Application
  • Testing for Diseases
  • GE is a very precise way of introducing desirable traits into economically useful organisms

By Cesar Ramirez

  • Genetic engineering is good, but human applications are a step to far. I believe that human genes should be left alone and decided by nature.
