Introduction
- Possibilities for Human Application
- Ethics
- Genetic Enhancement
- Concerns
- DNA Research- Genetic Engineering
Cons
- GE crosses species barriers. Crosses are made which would never occur in nature.
- GE is Unnatural
- Bio technologists are playing God
- Steals genetic commons from peasant farmers and indigenous peoples
Human Genetic Enhancement
Pros
- Animal Models
- Human Application
- Testing for Diseases
- GE is a very precise way of introducing desirable traits into economically useful organisms
Human Genetic Enhancement
By Cesar Ramirez
- Genetic engineering is good, but human applications are a step to far. I believe that human genes should be left alone and decided by nature.
