This book is about a boy named Cort who likes to go fishing with his dad. When a storm starts to come his fishing plans are canceled. His dad and friend Liza's mom are gone and the storm shakes the house and tears up the town. They have to run in the woods and get back to their parents. They have to go through lots of trouble to get back to them.
