Treatment

1. Wait for blisters to form

2. Then soak infected area in cold water to agitate the worm to reveal itself

3. Pull worm out until tension

4. Bandage

5. Repeat

  • Redness and swelling of the skin (cellulitis)

  • Generalized infection
  • Joint lock (contractures)
  • Lock jaw (tetanus)
