Treatment
1. Wait for blisters to form
2. Then soak infected area in cold water to agitate the worm to reveal itself
3. Pull worm out until tension
4. Bandage
5. Repeat
Symptoms
- Redness and swelling of the skin (cellulitis)
- Boils or abscesses
- Generalized infection
- Joint lock (contractures)
- Lock jaw (tetanus)
