Community Service
Beginning in the summer before sophomore year, I became involved in volunteering at the Orlando Science Center. At the end of summer, I had earned over 100 hours by performing demonstrations for the guests at the center and helping the staff with activities. I continued to volunteer there over the school year, as well. At school, I am apart of Key Club where we are community service oriented and monthly go to Ms. Beeb's Mobile Pantry to serve food to the homeless. Next year I will be Junior Class Director for Key Club. At the end of my sophomore year, I collected 270 community service hours.
Comic Project
Writing from
Second Semester
In English, we made a comic book about a hero's journey. The project furthered our knowledge on the 12 steps a hero goes through in their story. I did my comic based on Scooby Doo to show the 12 steps.
Writing
My writing has improved over the course of my sophomore year. I have learned to incorporate quotes better and to use signal phrases to introduce the quotes. Also, I have learned to make themes from quotes and how to properly phrase them. Literary devices have been a topic, as well where we had to recognize figurative language in passages and talk about the impact they had on the writing.
Summer
Over the summer I will be volunteering with the Orlando Science Center as a yellow giant, helping with the summer camps there at the center. Also, I will be attending the STEM program at the United States Naval Academy for a week where I will take classes and learn about the different types of engineering.
I will do at least three second turns a day in G-Force in order to improve on my technique in turning along with flexibility.
My personal goal for this year is to improve my turns in dance by getting a solid triple and my second turns along with spot second turns.
Performance
My academic goal is to pass both of my AP tests in AP Statistics and AP European History along with getting straight A's throughout the year in all of my classes.
I will turn in all of my homework on time in order to practice the material and study for all the quizzes and test.
Mission Statement
For the remainder of high school, I want to do my best in all of my classes and get straight A's, as well as be more apart of the drama and dance programs.
For college I want to pursue my career and learn the basics of that career. I want to major in biochemical engineering.
I want to be a biochemical engineer.

I joined the archery team at LMP last year. The season begins in the spring and I can't wait to start competing and getting better. Through archery I have learned to have patience and it takes a while to learn a new skill. Also, through our team shoots, I have learned the importance of working as a team.
