According to Enloe, he was born in 1804,
but according to Nancy Hanks and Thomas Lincoln, he was born in 1806 in Kentucky. 1804 would place Abraham Lincoln in the Enloe residence with Nancy. While 1806 would place Lincoln with
Nancy and Thomas.
Abraham Enloe was the supposed father of Abraham Lincoln (Enloe). Nancy Hanks was a Household servant, that stayed with Abraham Enloe in his home.

One of the major factor that affects the legend is the first recorded existance of Lincoln was in school a poem he wrote in Kentucky. No records
of him being born in North Carolina.
The poem wasn't important except that he supposedely wrote this when he was 13. If
we believe the story of Thomas, he would
have been almost 16. Too old.

Abraham Enloe secretely met with Thomas Lincoln to discuss Nancy Hanks and possibly Abraham Lincoln
and the marriage. The meeting was
supposedely in Kentucky.

Abraham Enloe is buried in
Harshaw Cemetery in Cherokee County, NC.
He died of natural causes.
He was around 70 years of age.
