Pollution in Tokyo

Tokyo is a much cleaner city than it was, one of the cleanest big cites in the world.

It is slowly working towards fixing its pollution problems.

Land Pollution

Methods used to get rid of land pollution are leaching, soil washing, degradation and evacuation.

The quality of water has improved dramatically due to a new sewage system and restrictions that have been put in place.

There is solutions being put in place or that have been put in place for all problems. TMG, the Tokyo Metro Government are one of the groups placing in measures.

In earlier years Tokyo was a very dirty city. This was due to factories without regulations; polluting the air, water and land, a bad sewage system and the increase of cars.

Tokyo is much more environmentally conscious now, but still has pollution problems.
